Graffiti Exhibition

A hallmark of the city of Vigo and O Marisquiño, urban art could not miss its annual date with the festival. The graffiti exhibition at OM22 will feature a new and dynamic format this year where 7 artists, national and international, will display their talent in a structure built for the occasion on the esplanade in front of the Bahía hotel.

There will also be artistic intervention in different parts of the venue by a team of local writers led by Pow One, coordinator of the discipline at O Marisquiño, who will count on sprays from Montana Colors, a benchmark Barcelona brand, for the production of their pieces. of the urban art scene and graffiti in particular.

OM22 x Nano4814

Nano4814, recognized for being one of the benchmarks of urban art on the peninsula, will be in charge of designing the OM22 stickers. The artist, whose career started through graffiti more than 20 years ago in Vigo, is thus reunited with his hometown through O Marisquiño. The sticker pack can be obtained at the information booth from Kill Paff.

Street Art by Pereira

Also noteworthy is the Street Art by Pereira space, which will take place in the Tinglado area and in which the Portuguese artist Vanda Balinha will perform a poem by Antonio García Teijeiro in front of the public. A proposal that continues with the concept started last year at the festival of mixing Galician culture and literature with urban culture and art.

Muraliz-Art Workshop

In addition to seeing the graffiti artists at work over the weekend, on Thursday the little ones will be able to enjoy the Muraliz-Arte workshop in collaboration with Pinturas Proa, all based on a sketch and design by the artist David Amoedo, who will also be in charge of delivering the workshops.
