WHAT IS THE VENUE OF THE FESTIVAL THIS YEAR?

The event will be held entirely on Samil Beach, except for the Urban Downhill, which necessarily requires the slopes and the urban area of ​​downtown Vigo, the Old Town. All other activities will be held on Samil Beach. The musical program, the Village Market, and the Gastronomic Zone with food trucks will also be on the beach. From August 7th to 10th, in front of the Cíes Islands, all of Marisquiño will be held in a single, open-air, free-access venue. The Urban Downhill will be held in downtown Vigo on Saturday, August 9th.

IS IT FREE TO ENTER?

O Marisquiño is a free festival for everyone. Admission is free ibn all its areas.

DOES THE FESTIVAL HAVE A LOST AND FOUND SERVICE?

Yes, at the information point at the Verbum Museum, which is also used as a lost and found location. Lost documentation will be handed over to the relevant authorities after the event concludes.

DOES THE FESTIVAL HAVE ACCESS AND RESERVED AREAS FOR PEOPLE WITH REDUCED MOBILITY?

People with reduced mobility have exclusive access to enter the different areas of the venue to ensure the best visibility and comfort possible during all the competitions.

WHAT TIME DO THE COMPETITIONS START?

All information about schedules will be updated on the festival's website under the schedules tab. However, in general terms, sports activities are fromn 10.00 am to 22,.00 pm and music activities are from 22.00 pm to 03.00 am.

CAN I EAT AND DINNER AT THE VENUE?

Throughout the day you will find drink bars and food stall s all over the places.

ARE THERE NEARBY PARKING FACILITIES?

In te city center there are two public parking losts right at the finish of the Downhill, at he A Laxe Shopping Center.

At Samil Beach, there are 4 public and free parking lots. It is recommended to arrive early to find the best and nearest parking to the event activities.

IS THERE MEDICAL ASSISTANCE AT THE FESTIVAL?

There are several civil protection posts adjacent to the tracks, as well as medical services in the venue and medical ambulances.

ARE THERE PUBLIC RESTROOMS IN THE VENUE?

There are public restrooms throughout the venue as well as the usual ones at Samil Beach.

IS THERE A MERCHANDISING SPACE?

Yes, there are two official festival spaces dedicated to selling t-shirts, sweatshirts, caps, etc. at Samil Beach.

IF I HAVE A PROBLEM, IS THERE A SECURITY POINT AT THE FESTIVAL?

For any serious problems that arise, you can contact the organization staff or the security personnel distributed throughout the venue; they will help you as much as they can.

HOW DO I REGISTER TO COMPETE?

On the website for each discipline, you will find the steps to follow.

WHAT DO I NEED IF I AM A MINOR TO REGISTER AND COMPETE?

Complete the permission form, which can be found on the website or in the registration area of the sports venues; additionally, parents or guardians must sign this document and be present during the competitions.

CAN I TAKE PHOTOS INSIDE THE SPORTS VENUES?

You can take photos from the stands and any area designated for the public but the access to the tracks is completely prohibited. We recommend using telephoto lenses.

HOW CAN I REGISTER AS PRESS?

On the website, in the press section, there will be a form to request accreditation that you must fill out. The press department will review the request and contact you.

HOW CAN I WORK AT THE EVENT?

The festival is not currently seeking applicants for jobs in 2025. In any case, within the INFO tab of the website, you will find a sub tab calkles JOB BOARD where you can submit your CV.
