Goodbye 2025: goodbye to the year of Marisquiño's 25th anniversary
25 years are not celebrated every day. In fact, they are celebrated only once in a lifetime. For us, it has been this 2025, a very special edition for Marisquiño, a festival that was born in 2001 with a small skate exhibition on the streets of Vigo and that, a quarter of a century later, is established as one of the great references of urban culture and action sports in Europe.
We have experienced an unforgettable anniversary at Samil beach, the space that we now already feel as home. A vibrant venue, open to the sea, with all disciplines active —except for the Downtown— and with the energy of an audience that never fails. The FMX returned after seven years of absence. The Big Air returned. The World Cup Skateboarding once again left us with historic lines. The BMX Park also made a comeback. The 3x3 FIBA basketball conquered Samil in its new setting. Music had more prominence than ever. And most importantly: that unique mix of riders, crews, families, and fans returned, making Marisquiño much more than just an event.
25 years of stories, culture and urban sports with the best vibes in a dream location
Now it’s time to look ahead. In 2026 we will continue to celebrate who we are. We will soon announce dates, surprises, and everything that is to come. Until then, thank you for being part of this story. Thank you for continuing to believe. See you in Samil 🖤🐙
