Adaptive sports continue to grow at Marisquiño 2026
In 2024, Adaptive Skateboarding made its debut at Vigo’s action sports and urban culture festival. In 2025, Adaptive BMX was added. In 2026, Marisquiño will once again bring together international riders who have made these disciplines a benchmark.
From August 6 to 9, Samil beach will once again host the competitions of Adaptive Skate and BMX within the festival’s official circuits, sharing space, visibility, and prominence with the rest of Marisquiño’s disciplines.
The festival thus continues to uphold a pioneering approach in Europe, committed to inclusive formats that understand adaptive sport through creativity, style, competition, and coexistence, moving away from labels and focusing on each rider’s talent.
This initiative remains possible thanks to the collaboration with the BIMBA Y LOLA Foundation, an organization committed to inclusion and positive impact through art, culture, and sport. The foundation renews its collaboration with Marisquiño to promote adaptive sport and foster more diverse and accessible spaces.
More details about invited riders, formats, and registrations will be announced soon. To stay up to date with everything, follow @omarisquino.
