Danny León's Mariscoterapia: "In Vigo, all ailments go away"
In 2024, Danny León went to the Olympic Games with hopes of winning a medal. It didn't go as he expected. He flew from Paris to Vigo. At Marisquiño, he did what he himself called "Mariscotherapy." During the 25th anniversary of the action sports and urban culture festival, we asked him about it: "Mariscotherapy is how all those ailments inside you go away by doing what you are most passionate about. For me, it's living a weekend in Vigo with all my friends, my family, my people. Living the event, skating, and eating really well."
It doesn’t seem strange that in this context, and having come for the last 18 years, he confidently states: "I see myself coming for another 18 years. Without a doubt. What I don’t know is at what level. But I will keep coming. Maybe as a judge. Or as a singer, who knows what will happen (he laughs). Or as a speaker doing a duet with Kini González, I wouldn’t mind: If you blink, you miss it." He will keep coming because he’s hooked on "the mix of culture in different sports and from different countries that come together in the same weekend in Samil," he explains. And he concludes, while petting his dog Zoeh on the couch: "That and that each year is more and more better. A lot of good." For many years we will be delighted to welcome you and try to give back all the energy and good vibes you bring with you, Danny. And since we are at it, and given that today is your birthday... Congratulations!
