Marisquiño at the European Summit on Urban Culture in Strasbourg

Marisquiño took part as the only Spanish representative in the Meeting of Stars – The European Street Culture Conference, an international summit held in Strasbourg from May 21 to 25 that brought together representatives from the 27 countries of the European Union linked to urban culture.

The meeting took place as part of the 20th anniversary of the NL Contest, one of the most important urban culture festivals in Europe, and was supported by the Strasbourg European Capital 2024-2026 program. Over five days, event organizers, riders, artists, and other sector stakeholders worked together to analyze the present and future of urban cultures in Europe, addressing topics such as funding, international mobility, and institutional recognition.

The conference concluded with the public presentation of the “Manifesto of European Street Cultures”, a joint document that aims to create a European network capable of strengthening and connecting the urban ecosystem at a continental level.

The next edition of Marisquiño will be held from August 6 to 9, 2026 in Vigo, with Samil Beach as the epicenter of the festival and with a free program that will once again combine sports, music, urban art, and activities for all audiences. See you there!
