Marisquiño Kids expands with more than 40 free family activities

Marisquiño takes a step further in its family programming with the launch of Marisquiño Kids, which this year expands the free activities to the four days of the festival, from August 6 to 9. Once again with the support of Gadis, reinforcing its commitment to physical exercise within its Corporate Social Responsibility program.

The now classic Family Day by Gadis will once again open the festival on Thursday with 26 free workshops and 320 spots for boys and girls aged 5 to 16. Skate, BMX, Flatland, Breaking, 3x3 Basketball, Graffiti and, as a new addition, Freestyle Rap, will be part of a day whose registrations are now open.

In addition, in this edition the opening day of the Vigo festival will conclude with a great free concert by Monk Blues Band, designed especially to be enjoyed with the family. At 20:00h on the beach of Samil, with the sunset and the Cíes Islands in the background.

But that’s not all. The big new feature comes with La Plaza de Marisquiño, a new space in Samil that will offer, from Thursday to Sunday and without prior registration, workshops, urban dance, freestyle initiation, skate board customization, activities about skate and BMX components, as well as proposals such as Marisquiño Finger Skate and the Fortune Wheel by Gadis.
