Today's programme, Saturday: Downtown, full-on action and LG1DO

After the Family Day by Gadis and an intense Friday, Marisquiño 2026 is experiencing its first big day this Saturday. From early in the morning, Samil and the center of Vigo will fill up with sport, urban culture, music, the Village, the Gastro area, and thousands of people enjoying the festival. And, as every year, the big star will be the MTB Downtown.

The urban downhill will once again run through the streets of central Vigo with a spectacular course linking the Fortaleza de O Castro with the A Laxe leisure center, crossing the Casco Vello. The action will begin in the morning with the qualifying heats and will continue in the afternoon with the semifinals and the grand final, in one of the most eagerly awaited moments of the entire weekend.

Meanwhile, Samil will keep the activity going throughout the day. The Skate Street will hold its semifinals and finals, BMX Freestyle will stage its semifinals, Flatland will hold its finals, and Breaking will face an intense day of battles. Basket 3x3 will also continue, with the last matches of the group stage and the start of the knockout rounds, as well as the Adaptive Skate and Adaptive BMX competitions.

The music takes over

When the competition ends, it will be time for the concerts. The SON Estrella Galicia stage will bring together Nueva Apóstol, VVV [Trippin' You], Nusar3000, and LG1DO, while La Plaza will continue with its program of electronic music and DJ culture. The Oasis stage will once again be the meeting point for the sound system, and Sunset will provide the soundtrack for the Village throughout the day. A Saturday to experience Marisquiño from beginning to end.
