WHAT
Once again, the Cromoly Club is pleased to present the celebration of the BMX International Open as part of the O Marisquiño competitions. This event has been part of the festival since 2006, when it was called the Queimada Contest. Today, it is a reference in the BMX world—both Park and Street—and one of the star disciplines in Vigo.
WHERE
For the second consecutive year, we are repeating the new location in the parking lot of the old flea market at Samil Beach. This location is right next to the new site for the World Cup Skateboarding, located in Parking 3, which has been held in Samil since 2022. Thus, the event for this Olympic discipline will take place in a more comfortable space while showcasing the extraordinary surroundings of the beach and the Cíes Islands to the world.
HOW
We are committed to the classic format of the event, by riders for riders, where fun is accompanied by the highest level of sport and spectacle. An Open format with qualifiers, semifinals, and finals where all participants, regardless of their level, can participate, perform their run, and enjoy it.

WHEN
From August 9 to 11, 2024. On Thursday morning, there are workshops for the youngest participants and in the afternoon, the first free practice sessions for competitors by groups. On Friday morning, the official training sessions for Park and Street begin, with Junior and Pro Street Men qualifiers in the afternoon. On Saturday morning, Pro Park Men and Pro Women start with training sessions and qualifiers. In the afternoon, we have the Junior final and Park and Street Men semifinals. On Sunday morning, we have the Park Men and Park Women finals, and in the afternoon, the Street Men final, closing with the Best Trick Park.
