Getting around Marisquiño 2026: easier than ever
Getting to Marisquiño 2026 will be easier than ever. Once again, the festival is committed to convenient and sustainable mobility thanks to the coordinated plan together with the Concello de Vigo, Vitrasa and Mar de Ons, designed to make travel between Samil beach and the city center easier.
Two stages, one city
Marisquiño will once again take place in two of Vigo’s most emblematic spaces. Samil beach will be the festival’s main hub, where most of the sporting competitions, concerts, the Village and family activities will take place. On Saturday, the action will also move to the historic center with the spectacular MTB Downtown, from Fortaleza do Castro to A Laxe.
Vitrasa: more buses and special shuttle services
During the festival days, Vitrasa will reinforce regular routes to Samil and will once again operate its special shuttle service, with greater capacity and routes adapted to the main access points to the venue. In addition, the night service will be extended over the weekend to make it easier to return to central Vigo once each day’s activities come to an end.

Mar de Ons: reinforced connections
Those arriving from O Morrazo will be able to use the reinforced connections of Mar de Ons between Cangas and Vigo. The shipping company will also offer a special return service at 11:30 p.m., from Thursday to Sunday.

If you’re coming by car...
To avoid traffic jams around the festival, we recommend using the Bouzas and Balaídos car parks and then walking from there to Samil. Another good option is to come by taxi. A fleet of more than 400 vehicles from Taxi Vigo 47 will be available to get around quickly, comfortably, and safely throughout the festival. They can be requested through the blyr app or by calling 986 47 00 00.
By bike, Motiño (and with a suitcase?)
If you arrive directly at the festival with luggage or a bicycle, Vigo Lockers offers secure lockers next to Vialia and the Náutico, open 24 hours a day all year round and available for online booking. It also has free bicycle parking. And you can also get there or move around the city by bike and even with Motiños Vigo.
Getting to Vigo
Vigo has excellent connections by train, bus, road and air. The Vialia intermodal station connects the city with the main national destinations, while Vigo Airport offers direct flights to several Spanish cities. In addition, the airports of Santiago de Compostela and Porto expand the options for those traveling from farther away.
