Inclusion is consolidating its place as one of Marisquiño’s pillars

The Skate and the adaptive BMX events have kicked off their program at Marisquiño 2026. On the one hand, the BIMBA Y LOLA Foundation, which has been collaborating with Marisquiño since 2024 in promoting adaptive sports, is presenting from today at the Samil venue an exhibition featuring portraits of some of the riders who will compete this weekend. The exhibition aims to bring the public closer to their stories and talent and help give greater visibility to these disciplines. Several of the participants visited BIMBA Y LOLA's headquarters in Vigo this morning before joining the sporting activities.

On the other hand, and on the sporting side, official training sessions for both categories were held this Friday. We have already been able to see some of the world's best in action in both Skate and BMX Adaptive. And the public has already been thrilled by all of them.

The music lineup will also have an inclusive aspect with the Freestyle People Show, which will begin at 17:00 hours in La Plaza. The event, organized by Gallos del Norte and the Poten100mos Association, will bring together artists with and without functional diversity for three hours in a freestyle rap showcase that will also include an open mic for public participation.
