Marisquiño 2026 takes shape in Samil
The countdown is already underway. Today marks exactly one week until Marisquiño 2026 kicks off, and on Samil Beach the OM Army is working at full speed to ensure everything is ready for next August 6.
The first major festival spaces are beginning to take shape and the setup is progressing as planned. The skatepark, which will once again bring together some of the best riders in the world in the World Cup Skateboarding events, is already revealing much of its structure, while the BMX Park is also moving ahead at a very good pace and is preparing to welcome some of the best specialists in the discipline.
Over the next few days, the venue will keep growing with the addition of new structures, stages and spaces, gradually transforming Samil Beach into the ephemeral city of Marisquiño. Each day will add new elements until, on August 6, everything is ready to open the doors to a new edition of the festival.
Behind all of this are hundreds of people coordinating every detail so that, when the time comes, everything runs like clockwork. Because before the competitions, the concerts and the activities begin, there is a team making it possible for Marisquiño to rise again from scratch.
