Adaptive Skate and BMX confirm a star-studded lineup for Marisquiño 2026
Marisquiño will once again bring together from August 7 to 9 some of the leading names in Adaptive Skate and Adaptive BMX internationally, consolidating a commitment that positions the festival as a benchmark for integrating these disciplines into its official program.
The competitions will take place in the same facilities as the rest of the skate and BMX events: the Marisquiño Skate Park and BMX Park, and the prizes are the same as those of the World Cup Skateboarding and the International Open BMX. In both disciplines there will be Open and Best Trick competition.
Confirmed riders and ambassadors
In Adaptive Skateboarding, names such as Vinicios Sardi, reigning Marisquiño champion and president of the Brazilian Paraskateboarding Association; Tia Pearl, four-time world champion and two-time Dew Tour winner; Edward Jeffries, WCMX world champion; or Anthony Ferraro, athlete, musician and member of the U.S. Olympic judo team, stand out. Alongside them will once again be the Galician Marcelo Lusardi, ambassador of the project and internationally known as The Blind Rider.
For its part, Adaptive BMX will feature international figures such as Julián Molina and Juanje Trujillo, ambassadors of the discipline and two of the most influential riders in today’s scene. They will be joined by participants from the United States, the United Kingdom, Argentina, Andorra and Mexico.
This initiative is possible thanks to the collaboration with the BIMBA Y LOLA Foundation, an organization committed to inclusion and positive impact through art, culture and sport. The foundation renews its collaboration with Marisquiño to continue promoting adaptive sports and foster more diverse and accessible spaces.
