OM25: The best edition in Marisquiño's history

The XXV edition of Marisquiño concluded last Sunday as the best in its history, with a massive influx of spectators from the early hours of the morning until dawn over the four days. The increase in Vitrasa service, taxis, sold-out Renfe tickets from Madrid, and the reinforcement of 5G by Movistar were proof of this.

In Samil, the exceptionally high sports level shone across all disciplines, featuring international names like Ryan Williams, Daniel Sandoval, Courage Adams, Diego de Blas, and Guim Expósito. Skateboarding and adapted BMX, thanks to the collaboration of the Fundación Bimba y Lola, delivered moments of pure inspiration with riders like Jack Dumper, Julián Molina, and Vini Sardi. Furthermore, adapted BMX was included in the program for the first time.

The audience also enjoyed the new finish of the MTB Downtown at the A Laxe Leisure Center, which was a success for both riders and the organization. The two musical stages gathered thousands of people, especially on Saturday night thanks to the concerts of Ralphie Choo and the set by Cora Novoa.

OM25 broke records in food truck sales, hotel occupancy, camping, and restaurants, as well as in audiovisual production and media impact. On social media, from the announcement of the official OM25 dates to the end of the festival, 14 million impressions and 375,000 interactions were achieved, with followers mainly from Spain, Portugal, the United States, and France. All this on Marisquiño's channels, not counting the impacts from riders, musicians, and attending spectators that exponentially multiply these figures.

The festival thanks the support of the Concello de Vigo and the Zona Franca, as well as the commitment of sponsors like Estrella Galicia, Fundación Bimba y Lola, Centro de Ocio A Laxe, and Gadis, in addition to all the private brands and the great human team of Marisquiño. Special mention goes to the athletes who traveled from all over the world and the audience, whose exemplary behavior made a historic edition possible.
